The real questions creators ask us

Won't my followers feel cheated talking to an AI instead of me?

The honest answer: some might, and that's okay. The followers who subscribe to your AI persona are specifically choosing to talk to an AI version of you — they see the disclosure before their first message. They're not being tricked. The value for them is availability and depth, not the belief that they're actually talking to you. Most creators who worry about this find that their engaged followers — the ones who'd actually pay — understand the distinction and appreciate that the creator made it available.

What if my AI says something wrong or embarrassing?

You can review your AI's behavior at any time and submit corrections. If your AI says something factually wrong or out of character, flag it and we'll retrain that response. You can also set topics that your AI declines to discuss. You are not responsible for every AI output, but you do have tools to correct it.

Do I have to be online or involved?

No. That's the entire point. Once your persona is set up and live, it runs without your involvement. Followers chat with your AI, you receive subscription revenue. You don't answer messages, manage conversations, or maintain anything. The only time you'd interact with the setup is if you want to retrain it on new content or adjust your plans.

What if my audience is mostly outside the US?

Gumroad processes payments internationally. Followers from Pakistan, India, and most other markets can subscribe using cards, PayPal, and local payment methods where Gumroad supports them. Payouts to creators currently go via Gumroad's standard payout system — check their supported countries list for specifics on your region.

What if I want to leave the platform later?

You can remove your persona any time with no penalty. Your training content (your videos, posts, etc.) is yours — we don't retain rights to it if you leave. Active subscriber refund handling follows Gumroad's policy for the billing period in question.
